Nyssa is a 28 year old Marine biologist in a Cyberpunk setting. Her story plays in an alternative universe, where the water level rose so far, that most cities are build halfway under the water. In a country formerly known as the Philippines, Nyssa is employed in a security intelligence service. 

She works as a marine biologist for Prof. Orion Steele to create an espionage entity. With the modern biotech she creates a creature, that looks suspiciously like a mermaid, but is capable of following orders by the company.
Nyssa is a workaholic and can be flirty to get her way. She plans to take over the company soon, and yet has to figure out how to play that well.
